As we are in need of extra support and help from our friends to deal with the unusual quantity of pain surrounding the loss of a loved one, and we need additional time with God and with other fellow Believers to bolster our faith. It is a time when we may question our faith and therefore allow Satan to gain a foothold by causing us to focus on our anger or an additional adverse emotions. Such focus can endanger our faith. It may prevent us from trusting God. Some Christians, such as C. S. Lewis, have testified to having lost their faithfulness. For this reason we need to take preventative measures to preserve our faith. All things considered, faith in Christ is our foundation and it is critical that we take care of it.
